The Usk Show is held annually and this year (2009) it was held on 12th September in glorious sunshine and attendance reached an all time record of over 250,000. There were entries from all many sections of country life, including sheep, goats, dogs and dairy cattle. The displays by local gundog and falconry clubs as well as demonstrations of vintage farm machinery, there was also a very popular demonstration of cider making including a free 'taster'

One of the many highlights of this years show was the excellent horse riding displays given by all age groups from, the very young up to the not so young. The skills shown were remarkable. You can read more about the show HERE
