Grosmont is a small village on the border of South Wales and England, about eight miles from the market town of Abergavenny. It is well worth a visit to see the 12th century church (St Nicholas) and the well preserved ruins of Grosmont Castle, also built around the early part of the 12th century. Whilst in the village, you must visit the 'Angel Inn' to sample the excellent real ale that is served there.
