Version 5 of the Pictures To Exe program introduced some exciting new features that allow you to create many animated effects in your slide shows. Here is an example of using 'Panning and Zooming' to make an opening slide that is an excellent way of introducing your slide shows. Download it and see what you think and if you want to know how to make your own introductory slide, then take a look at the pdf tutorial called 'Intro Sequence' parts one and two, that is included on the Sales Page. This tutorial shows you step by step, just how to make your very own Opening Sequence.

If you have seen the slide show about Grosmont Village & Castle , that I uploaded to the Vimeo sharing site, you will know that I promiced a downloadable copy of the exe file so that you could see it at a better screen quality. You will see some examples of using the animation options available in version 5 of Pictures To Exe, e.g. 'split images' that are panned vertically and also the 'Picture in Picture' effect as well as 'rotating' text. The slide show is best viewed at a screen resolutiuon of 1024 x 768 pixels. Please feel free to download it for your own personal use.

Making a One Page Menu, that will run as many of your PTE slide shows as you wish, has always been a popular request made by visitors to my site. I have already made such a menu tutorial for creating such a menu but this will only run slide shows created with Version 4.XX of the Pictures To Exe program.
The good news is that I have now updated my earlier tutorial so that you can now create the menu in PTE Version 7 onwards. The tutorial is very detailed and yet very easy to follow. You will find full details on the Sales Page.

If you would like to see a preview of what the menu looks like, please click the download link below. However, please note that the preview will only display three slide show icons, when you make your own menu you will be able to add as many more shows as you like.

This is a Pictures To Exe slide show created with version 5.6 and it demonstrates the very popular 'Reduced Noise' filter effect. I have also included one of the latest transition effects (the flip 3D) which is very effective. I used Photoshop to create these images and anyone can reproduce this effect without any real effort so take a look at the slide show demo and let me know what you think.
