The 4 Way Split Animation Sequence

This tutorial updates the original that was included on CD 01 and can now be used with all versions of Photoshop from CS3 onwards. The previous version used 'Image Ready' to save the split sections as separate images on their own layers within Photoshop but, since Image Ready does not now form part of the latest versions of Photoshop, this tutorial will show you how to save these split sections as layers, using a script (included within Photoshop).

I will provide you with a 'Photoshop Action' that will split any chosen image into four separate parts and each of these parts will be saved as separate images on their own layer. Then, in the Pictures To Exe software, I will show you how to animate these layers so that they will re-form the original image as part of your PTE Slide Show.

You will learn in a 'step' by step' fashion and I will show you using my usual PDF method, explaining in great detail each of the procedures involved. These written instructions are accompanied by actual screenshots that will show you exactly what is going on, at each stage of the tutorial.

The animation sequence can be used anywhere within a slide show but is most effective when used as an opening sequence.
