The Reduce Noise Filter Effect
I came across this filter effect purely by chance, whilst viewing a slide show on the Pictures To Exe Forum, I was so impressed with the standard and quality of the presentation that I just had to learn how to create some images of my own. Very soon, people were asking me how it was done, so I decided to put together this PDF Tutorial.
The effect is stunning! The image is created by using the Photoshop options of Reduce Noise, Unsharp Mask, Texturiser and one or two other minor adjustments. The finished image resembles a watercolor but with a very big difference.
This tutorial will take you right through the process of converting your own images and there will be no need for you to take notes of any kind because the PDF is very detailed, with plenty of actual screen shots to show you exactly what is going on.
I know that you will be amazed with the images that you will produce and that you will be inspired to create your own PTE slide show, of which you will be very proud. If you would lke to see an example of one of the best slide shows I have seen on this subject, then download 'Caledonian Canvas' by clicking on this link Download. The slide show was made by Phil Galloway who is an active member of the PTE Forum.
The Reduce Noise Filter is also very effective when used on images that you intend to print, especially when enlarged and printed onto matte paper.
