Details of the tutorials contained on pdf Tutorial CD-05
This is a tutorial that shows you how to make a 'One Page Menu' for presenting your slide shows to an audience. The previous version of this tutorial, that I made some time ago for version 4.48 of the Pictures To Exe program, proved to be very popular and I have been asked to update the tutorial. Since WNsoft have now introduced Version 5.6 of the program, I have had to make considerable changes to my previous tutorial, mainly because the old 'Objects Editor' has been replaced by the much improved 'Objects and Animation' facilities.
I am quite sure that you will want to explore these changes and remake your own One Page Menu in order to keep yourself right up to date with all the many benefits of Version 5 of the Pictures To Exe program. This tutorial is in three parts and each part will take you 'step by step' through all the stages of making this menu.
On the CD, I have included a demonstration of the finished menu that includes three of my own slide shows, so you will be able to see just what your finished work will look like. I have only used three slide shows in this demo but you can add as many more as you wish.
Part One - In this part I show you what files and folders you need and where to create them. You will learn how to use Windows Explorer to create a new main folder in which you will save all the files and sub-folders that you will make during the course of the tutorial.
Part Two - Deals with the work you are required to do in Photoshop. I will show you how to make a 'Template' of the menu page that will include the basic header text and any details concerning your email address and Web Site detals if required. You will also see how easy it is to add colour and styles to the text contained on this page.
Part Three - This is where you learn how to use the Pictures To Exe program to create the actual One Page Menu. I will show you how to add your slide shows to the page and then how to use the 'Objects and Animation' features to program how each of your slide shows can be made to run with a single click of your mouse.
When you have finished the tutorial, you will be very proud to display your achievement to all your friends and family who will marvel at your skills!
